Bliss, Ecstasy And Pure Joy Of Making Stuff

The world we're living in today looks and sounds the way it does because we humans have wild imaginations. From music and art, to buildings and inventions, they’re all here because we dream big.
I still remember my folks' ancient unfinished basement where my siblings and I built imaginary worlds with astonishing detail. Whether you're a kid goofing off or a pro musician kicking off a new track, it's all about letting that imagination run wild. Your brain throws a party with dopamine every time you nail something. And for some of us, making music or playing an instrument is like a drug, because being creative fuels our souls.
Being a composer is like cooking up something entirely original after soaking in a lifetime of music. When I start writing or improvising, it's not about showing off; it's about creating something really unique. Sometimes, if I'm lucky, my fingers go crazy on the keys and I whip up something totally fresh! And let me tell you, that brings me a load of joy, bliss, and ecstasy.
I’m not referring to the struggle or the technicalities of making music. No, it’s about hitting that nirvana when you create those first few notes or stumble onto that killer bridge or ending. That high you get pushes you forward, laser-focused, until you've made your masterpiece. And yeah, it's a masterpiece because no one ever made this before, and no one ever will again. It's rare, genuine, unique, different—and it's all yours. Who cares how it stacks up against other masterpieces? That's just life!
So, why am I so enamoured with composing? It's about crafting something awesome, making people feel good, and sharing a piece of myself through the magic of music. It's not just about playing for your own kicks; it's about creating a vibe that connects with others. That's the heart of it all.
And yeah, it takes a dash of humility on this journey to success. True mastery comes from being open to learning, adapting, and showing love to those who inspire you. Humility puts you on a chill, collaborative path, way beyond the quest for perfection. Creating a new song, perhaps a real hit, or maybe just a really good one, isn’t just about flexing or boasting; it's about staying real in the game. Knowing your limits while staying committed to growing is key.
True mastery? It's about staying hungry, adapting, and giving due recognition to those who light your creative fire. Keep it real, always.
“Creativity is seeing what others see and thinking what no one else ever thought.”
