Nimrawd

The new LP, Unlikely but Not Impossible is fifteen tracks deep, clocking in at a tight 34 minutes—no room for bloat. Three years of sweat went into the album. The process? Every beat was tapped out on an iPhone using GarageBand. Once the beats were down, next up: fretless bass. Last up: synths, layered and layered, each with a 70s feel.

The production balances old-school influence with a modern approach, making it feel decidedly retro, lo-fi, indie. Dozens of synth patches, shaped and tweaked endlessly, bring in the warmth and character of analog tones, grounding the album in a rich sonic palette.
Each track has gone through countless iterations, evolving over time into something dynamic and immersive. Nimrawd worked on the songs night after night, when the kids were asleep. The LP sits somewhere between a beat tape and a full electronic album—textured, rhythmic, and deeply considered.
