Sirius XM-Presented MARATHON Festival Continues to Grow.
For its third edition, the MARATHON festival presented by SiriusXM continues to grow. With two previous editions where dozens of concerts played to sold-out venues, the MARATHON festival is the unbeatable autumn rendezvous to see the best of the Canadian independent scene. With over 100 artists, including the most promising names from the Montreal scene, the lineup also features several internationally emerging artists. A real MARATHON for the real people!
Five concerts have been announced:
On November 16, Club Soda will resonate with urban pop, featuring Super Plage, R&B artist Hawa B and the rap collective LaF.
On November 17, rock trio zouz and iconoclast VioleTT Pi will take over the stage at Club Soda. They'll be joined by Calgary band 36?, who will be returning to Montreal after an absence of several years.
Over at Fairmount Theater, the public will have the opportunity to discover or rediscover the electrified pop of Afternoon Bike Ride and Robert Robert, who will both be touring together this fall to present their respective new albums.
In Mile-End, the Fairmount Theater will welcome another major star of the local underground scene, Marie Davidson, who will be joined on stage by Egyptian artist Nadah El Shazly and DJ Ouri to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Heavy Trip.
Finally, MARATHON festival is pleased to partner with La maison fauve as co-presenter of the previously announced show by Philippe Brach at MTelus.
The FESTIVAL pass is currently available at the early bird rate and provides access to over 30 shows in the lineup. Tickets for individual shows are also available. Pick up your passes at https://mpourmontreal.com/en/tickets/.
